Ask Me Why iCare

iCare is an awareness and fundraising campaign supporting Hope House.  This campaign will take place throughout the month of October which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The iCare Campaign will enable Hope House to raise critical funding to support the programs and resources needed to assist those impacted by domestic violence while working to end the cycle of domestic violence.

Businesses:

• $150 suggested donation to participate for businesses with fewer than 50 employees
  
• $300 suggested donation to participate with 50 employees or greater 
  
• $150 suggested donation to participate for churches and all other organizations 
  
• Display awareness materials throughout October
  
• Hold fundraising activities to raise critical funding for Hope House 
  
• Wear the “Ask me why iCare” sticker
• Share the message of Hope House with family and friends throughout the month via; e-mail, social media and conversations

Individuals Awareness Activities:

• Hold a fundraising activity throughout the month

• Share the message of Hope House with family and friends throughout the month via; e-mail, social media and conversations

Someone I know has been impacted by domestic violence.  Someone you know has been impacted by domestic violence.  In fact, 1 in 3 women will be affected by domestic violence in their lifetime.  Jackson County has one of the highest rates of reports of domestic violence in the state of Missouri.  I think you’ll agree that that is completely unacceptable!   It’s time to blatantly bring this issue into the light.  Remove the stigma, the taboo, of talking about it.  Show our support to those who have been abused, and help those who are trying to escape a violent situation. 

Join people throughout the community who will be taking the "iCare" pledge by raising awareness of the domestic violence problem in our community and raising funds for Hope House to help save lives.
